Eibach 1000lb spring

Because I did the "Flip 'n Grind" mod to lower the rear end (about 1 3/4 inches) I was worried about bottoming out when riding 2-up.  So a spring upgrade was needed.

Here's the rear suspension with the original spring (I think around a 780 pounder is stock)

Here's the new 1000lb Eibach - note it's slightly shorter but will work just fine

Here's the spring compressed with a Barons compression tool (it kinda sucks - I may never have a need for it again!)

All put back together

A side note:  this is a good shot of where and why the pivot arm gets "ground" in the "flip and grind" mod.  You can see how close the arm comes to the shock.
